Due to Somerset County Public Schools' inclement weather closure on Monday, October 13, 2025, a make-up school day has been added to the 2025-2026 Board-Approved Academic Calendar.
Schools will now be in session on Monday, November 24, 2025. Families and staff are asked to please take note of this change and adjust personal schedules accordingly.
Maryland public school systems are required by COMAR (Code of Maryland Regulations) to provide 180 days of instruction each school year. This adjustment ensures compliance with state law following the recent closure.
